Gorham office donates to feed the local elderly this winter

December 28, 2016

Shauna Mandeville reached out to the local food pantry to find where the needs in our community are for us to give this year's jean money donation to (on Fridays we dress casually and put in a personal donation to help out a cause decided upon amongst us) -- we learned a large number of the elderly in our area cannot afford to buy food for themselves after paying their rent and oil bills, especially through the winter months. Pictured below, Darcy Spaulding and Patsy Waterman went shopping with the money raised. They packaged the supplies up at the Gorham Town Hall to be distributed to the elderly for Christmas.

We love sharing the little things we do in hopes of inspiring those around us to get out and give back to the communities in which we live and work. As you can see, it isn't always a huge amount of money but more so the time put in over a year and an evening of shopping and packing that shows how much you care!
