“We treat our employees like family. So we offer a voluntary benefits plan from a family-owned company.”
GROUP HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION
Strengthen your employee benefits plan with help from your Chalmers agent. Choose the right health insurance plan for your company. We offer all options: fee-for-service, HMO or a preferred provider organization (PPO). Include dental and vision to help your employees pay for their total health.
Our unique Voluntary Benefits Program enables you to offer benefits and insurance discounts to your employees at no cost to you, the employer. Employees can buy their personal lines insurance (home, auto, boat, renters, etc.) at a special discounted rate and have it deducted either from their paychecks or their own checking account.
GROUP LIFE INSURANCE
This provides a life insurance benefit to employees' families. The amount of paid for Life Insurance is dependent on the type of life insurance, the amount of coverage and other factors. Group Life Insurance traditionally is paid for by an employer as part of their employee’s benefit package. Voluntary Life Insurance is typically purchased by the employee.
GROUP DISABILITY COVERAGE
If an employee is unable to care for him or herself for an extended period of time, Short-term and Long-Term Disability Coverage will help protect their family, hard earned assets, and quality of life.
GROUP LONG-TERM CARE
Long-Term Care (LTC) coverage protects an employee’s family and preserves quality of life. (Health plans, disability coverage, and Medicare do not typically cover long-term care.) LTC can save money in the long run and can be transferred if the employee leaves the company.
EXECUTIVE BENEFIT PROGRAMS
With a carefully designed executive benefits program (EBP), you can selectively reward your key employees or ownership team. An EBP enables you to attract, motivate and retain those who have contributed substantially to your company’s growth and profitability. A Chalmers specialist can help you build the best executive benefit plan possible, using some combination of deferred compensation, stock options and asset planning for family members.
